EVENT BRANDING

LiT is a hypothetical modern art festival that is focused on sculpture, architectures and lighting design. I took visual inspiration from Eduardo Chillida’s Mont Tindaya, which led me to create the logo type with dramatic lighting and exaggerated scale.

The black and white color palette increases the graphic cohesion of the variety of branding materials, that is also flexible enough to create dimension and incorporate sculptural elements.

INSPIRATION

I love how Chillida created this environment that let the visitors to feel the smallness of mankind and the immensity and force of space. I brought this inspiration into 3D modeling software and explored the various way to express contrast on scaling.

 As the identity was bold, abstract, and serene, the varied logos reflected this with simple shape elements and size contrast. The logo plays on the themes of the LiT festival in different contexts to build connection between audiences and modern arts.
