This is a web redesign project for an online community, Fragrantica—magazine and encyclopedia about fragrance. As a perfume lover, I understand that smell is the design of experience. In order to describe the magic of a scent through language and graphics,
I proposed a web layout mainly focused on statistic visualization and image hierarchy.
I created the identity with turquoise gradient and kept the red of their logo to bridge an exotic character of a perfume catalog. For the purpose of guiding the audience through interconnected classification, I reorganized the web navigation to emphasize different user communities and information searching methods.
